Oh hi people!!! I'm ALIIIIIVE! ( If you didn't read that in Mushoo's voice from Mulan, go back and read it again.) But seriously, I'm about to get all kinds of chatty Kathy on you kids right now because it's been a hot minute! Work has been consuming my life. By consume, I mean, I should literally bring my toothbrush to the salon because I don't even understand the point in going home at this rate. It's funny how you pray for these things as a starting stylist and now that it has happened I'm like, whyyyy did I wish this upon myself?! haha jk. I love my clients. But I refuse to give them more than 12 hour days I have been. Which side note: I think it's funny so many people in my town have this idea that I'm always off gallivanting the world when in all actuality I'm posted up on the washing machine at work trying to scarf down a cracker while hair color processes. If I've learned one thing it's that people are going to think what they please... at 2 o'clock in the morning If I post a picture of me hiking a mountain, clearly I'm doing just that. (insert sarcastic tone.) Haha okay, that was an unexpected rant. I apologize.
My brother is married!!!!!!! The long awaited event has come and gone and it couldn't have been more perfect. I can't wait to get photos back so I can share them with you all! During all of the wedding festivities my sister was actually able to come home and live with me for the month! Having the whole family back together was such a memorable and exciting time! As nice as it was to have her as a roommate, I'm kinda excited to get back into a routine!
Matt and I have been slowly but surely remodeling our home. We've lived here for 5 years now and that's entirely too long to keep things the same. haha Nothing major since I still have my fingers crossed that we will move away in the near future, but enough to give the house a fresh look and smell of new. :) I might get around to posting before and after photos for you guys once we are finally finished!
Aside from the craziness of the wedding, remodeling, work and general life.. my photographer AKA my baby sister has been neck deep in finals for school. Needless to say she's put me on the back burner. haha I need to train one of the younger kids on the ole Canon so I have backup! Thankfully summer is right around the corner because I have lots of cute posts planned! Hope everyone has been enjoying life!! I love you all! XO
