If only I could change climates as much as my photos on instagram portray I do.. can I get an amen? haha I'm writing this as I'm riding home from West Palm. As much as I loved the weather these past couple of days.. I would give a body part to be back in the snow!
So today I wanted to share with you guys an aggravation that I have and a solution I've discovered. I purchased this Plaid dress (yes, this is a dress, not a shirt) from Windsor ( similar HERE! ) this past fall. I actually already posted a few pictures wearing it when Bitty and I went to the pumpkin patch ( see more from that post here! ) However, I have very long legs. It's a struggle for me to wear almost any dress without looking inappropriate. At least in the sense of being able to move around comfortably without showing the goods! haha So a lot of the time I try to find something to layer or put under to help. This lace dress is actually a separate dress I can't wear by itself because its too short BUT it has adjustable straps that I loosened all the way and TADA! Layered it worked perfectly! I Also threw some tights in there considering the temps ;)
Also, can we talk about these Sorels for a long minute? I'm not one to splurge often and when I do it's usually only on sunglasses and denim.. I buy a lot of cheaper items because I know my style changes & I get bored with items easily. But if you know my addiction to being outside and my passion for snow.. these shoes were practically a no brainer investment. I NEVER WANTED TO TAKE THEM OFF. I packed a totel of 5 pairs of boots while I was there and don't actually remember wearing any but these. So if you're an adventurist like myself, I highly recommend these beauties! I want them in all black too (Check them out >> HERE!) but I think I need to convince Mattie to move to the mountains before that happens... they don't get much use in Florida.
